Ziyarah in the Light of the Qur’an and the Sunnah is a comprehensive guide covering all essential aspects of performing the Holy Ziyarah rituals according to the Qur’an and Sunnah.
According to the author, Hazrat Moulana Muhammad Saleem Dhorat, a previous publication titled How to Perform Umrah was released through the Infinite Mercy and Grace of Allah. However, that work did not cover Hajj or Ziyaarah, as the intention was to address these topics separately. During the publication process of How to Perform Umrah, the hadith narrated by Ibne Adee—“Verily, he who performed Hajj and refrained from visiting me, has rendered me an injustice”—repeatedly came to mind. This inspired a firm resolution to compile a dedicated book on Ziyaarah during the holy month of Ramadhaan.
Upon receiving the How to Perform Umrah booklet, the author continually questioned how one could stand before the beloved Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) without completing this important work. Thus, on the 26th of Sha‘baan—the last Friday before Ramadhaan—after the ‘Asr prayer, the project was initiated in the name of Allah.
This book presents all the necessary information concerning Ziyaarah, detailing its method in a clear and sequential manner using plain and simple English. It is hoped that, through Allah’s Kindness, the work will be completed successfully, and any errors will be forgiven.
